Its that time of year again....to wear or not to wear white after Labor Day. Honestly,
where did this silly rule originate from? Clearly there are certain rules to the game. For
instance, white linen is definitely a no-no after Labor Day...actually any color linen is a
no-no after Labor Day. Don’t do it! But to say white is out after Labor Day is completely
ridiculous! WEAR YOUR WHITE GIRL!
I am a person who takes pride in purchasing classic, neutral color, key pieces. Pieces that could possibly take you into the next decade, or you can gracefully hand down to your daughter. So, telling me not to wear white all year round is like speaking a foreign language! What are you saying? White is a stand out color, it brings light to the darkest room. If your a dresser such as myself, why wouldn't you want to stand out? Forget the rules! I’M WEARING MY WHITE!
For those of you who are still afraid to go against the grain, take a look at the the collage provided below to give you some ideas, and the courage to take that leap of faith.
